Mayor Johannes Fridrich honored 13 blood donors from Nürtingen and Oberensingen in the Nürtingen town hall. Max Volz and Moritz Kübler provided the musical framework for the event.
NURTINGEN. All it takes is a pin prick and half a liter of blood, with which blood donors could save up to three lives. This year, 294 people in the Nürtingen area felt the same way and donated a total of 147 liters of blood in two blood collections in Neckarhausen and one in Reudern. Some of them even had their blood drawn several times a year.

The award ceremony for the honorary work “Strong Helpers” took place in the small hall of the Nürtingen Stadthalle K3N on Monday evening. The jury evaluated 13 projects worthy of an award. A total prize money of 6,500 euros was distributed.
