Since Laurent Wauquiez announced the organization of a massive screening campaign from December 16 to 23, the mayor of Lyon Gregory Doucet had been reluctant. He regretted last week a proposal “not appropriate, not worked enough and not enough concerted with local authorities and medical actors”.
Like his counterpart in Villeurbanne, Cédric Van Styvendael, he preferred screening after the holidays and sought the advice of the scientific council.

Five places of great passage
The chosen one seems to have changed his mind since, according to our sources, the city has given its agreement to the installation of five screening centers: Place Carnot, Place Valmy, Tête d’Or Park, Place de Frankfurt and Place of Croix-Rousse. They will complement the other places chosen by the Region: laboratories, pharmacies, stations …
