The young people took part in the workshop of the works of authors associated with Lublin. However, we are talking about songs that are not widely known. The subject of the exhibition are texts dedicated to children and youth.
– Many authors and authors who directed their work to young readers come from our city. The works of Franciszka Arnsztajnowa, Józef Czechowicz, Janina Porazińska, Anna Kamieńska and Julia Hartwig make up a large and varied collection of texts created by writers from Lublin over the last century, say the creators of the exhibition.
Lublin youth undertook i.a. preparation of individual elements of the exhibition, but will also conduct curatorial tours. Finally – and most importantly – the young people will present their own works at the exhibition, in which they have entered into a creative dialogue with the literary works of the most outstanding artists associated with our city.
The exhibition will also allow you to look at the work of Lublin authors from the perspective of time and assess its topicality. Young people, in turn, will answer how they perceive these texts today, how they read and interpret them.
