A company presented big plans and visions for Phoenix-West years ago, but is not making any progress. The city of Dortmund is upset. Why doesn’t she draw any conclusions, our author asks?
The situation seems tricky: The city, as it says itself, has high demand from companies looking for buildable land on Phoenix-West. On the other hand there is the Dutch-Canadian project developer World of Walas, which has its hand over the switchgear, the blast furnaces and an attractive building plot. And who obviously has problems realizing the conversion and new building plans presented with great enthusiasm in 2018.
What if the investor runs out of steam financially?
