Synopsis
Montreal was born out of a dream, that of people who believed in the possibility of creating a better world in New France. Who were these people? What ideal were they pursuing and why? The answers are found in a seventeenth-century manuscript which, of course, are the hidden memoirs of Jeanne Mance. With an original and personal look, the director revisits this story in which the past resounds with an ever-present desire to create a world closer to humanist values.
