Students from public and subsidized schools have the opportunity to learn musical theater thanks to the new workshop program launched by the Pozuelo de Alarcón City Council.
These are sessions aimed at students from 3rd to 6th grade of Primary and from 1st and 2nd grade of Secondary who like to sing, interpret and dance. The teaching and design of the workshops will be carried out by the theater producer Yllana.
The classes, in which theatrical games, group improvisations, and individual and group work on a musical number will be carried out, will take place in four sessions of 2 hours a week until next June.
The objectives pursued by this new training proposal are to enhance the creativity and imagination of students, develop artistic qualities to the rhythm of music, improve socialization, teamwork and communication, promote artistic and personal development within a free and safe climate, among others.

From the City Council they have valued “the commitment to education that we are carrying out to complement the training of our students in disciplines such as public speaking, technology or theater, and which are key in the development of their skills as people and future professionals”.
