The City Council of Corvera (Asturias) delivers 800 euros to each taxi driver
The mayor of Corvera, Iván Fernández, has delivered checks for 800 euros to each of the taxi drivers in the town as aid for the collaboration agreement for the promotion in their vehicles of the municipal campaign “ConCOR-Consume en Corvera ”, To promote consumption in local sectors.
In total, the City Council this year has allocated 9,800 euros to these grants that are distributed among the 12 taxi drivers of the council, thus doubling the amount they received last year for the same concept.
This is what the mayor of Corvera has indicated:
“This year we allocated more than 650,000 euros to the development of measures and direct aid to the self-employed and micro-businesses, trying to alleviate the negative effects of the crisis derived from the covid on the local economic fabric. If we count what we invested in 2020, the amount of aid rises to over 900,000 euros ”.
