The bow was similarly structured when the SUV was introduced on the EMP2 modular platform in 2017. In the middle of its life cycle, the Citroën C5 Aircross received an even more modern design. The extension of the double arrow towards the top of the headlights no longer consists of a chrome bar, but a “dashed” painted bar.

Both strips are followed by LED daytime running lights and the headlights are generally narrower. The whole front bumper also has a new look, which is reminiscent of the new style of the brand represented, for example, already facelift of the C3 Aircross model. New are also 18-inch wheel discs, different graphics were given to the rear lights.

Inside the facelift brought a new 10-inch screen of a modernized infotainment system. Following the example of the C4 or C5 X models, it is no longer framed by ventilation vents, it is higher and the ventilation blows below it.

The automatic transmission selector in the center tunnel is minimalist. The seats now also offer a massage function and a 15 mm higher foam padding.

The powertrains remain the same as before the modernization, we also know them from related SUVs, such as the Peugeot 3008, 5008, Opel Grandland or DS 7 Crossback.

The offer will thus remain a petrol twelve, diesel fifteen or plug-in hybrid system. The carmaker has not yet published the date of arrival on the Czech market or the amended price list.
