With the aim of giving a “cultural respite to citizens”, the Gran Teatro de Manzanares will open its doors to the cinema with the screening of the film ‘And birds rained’.

It will be this Thursday and Friday, March 25 and 26, exclusively for those over 60, who can access for free.
After the cultural break that the COVID-19 pandemic has forced in recent months, the Gran Teatro reopens its doors with a cinema. The film ‘And it rained birds’ by director Louise Archanbault will open the billboard, with the collaboration of the ‘Second Youth’ program and Civil Protection, the City Council reported in a press release.
Two screenings, on March 25 and 26 at 8:00 p.m., in an exclusive screening for those over 60 who, in addition, will have free access to the room. A cultural activity that also opens with renovated audiovisual facilities, thanks to the grant from the Alto Guadiana Mancha association, with European funds and the Manzanares City Council.
The capacity, according to the regulations, will be a maximum of 30 percent or, what is the same, 210 seats in each of the programmed passes. The doors of the auditorium will be open half an hour before the start of the session, in order to avoid crowds.
