The mass vaccination center located by Sergas in the Cidade da Cultura in Santiago de Compostela has closed after being administered in its dependencies 765,356 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19, after which from this Monday the immunizations are carried out at the Clinical Hospital.
This has been reported in a statement by the Sanitary Area of Santiago and Barbanza, which highlights that the closure of the Eisenman Hall of the Cidade da Cultura occurs approximately two years after the first case of Covid-19 diagnosed in it and twelve months after the opening of this mass vaccination center.
The same health sources remind that The vaccination site in Gaiás hosted its first vaccination day on March 11, 2021. Now, the doses will be administered in the Sampling Room of the Clinical Hospital, located on the floor minus three.

And, likewise, from Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. the same room it is made available for free access and for self-appointment of adults.
Since the start of vaccination in the Sanitary Area of Santiago and Barbanza, a total of 402,258 people have received the complete guidelines of the vaccine against Covid-19 and 344,031 have the booster dose.
Regarding the doses administered, 765,356 have been administered in the City of Culture and 133,981 in Hospital do Barbanza. To these are added the vaccines given in nursing homes, hospitals, homes and Primary Care centers, with a total of 1,115,207 doses and 490,445 citizens with some received.
