The CHU of Nîmes (Gard) and the CEA Marcoule, one of the nine research centers of the Commissariat for Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies (CEA) are once again joining forces. On 12 September 2022 they signed a partnership agreement which is part of the development of medical research.
Specializing in data processing, the CEA will use its cutting-edge technology to address the challenges of personalized medicine. The research carried out by the two bodies is mainly aimed at better understanding some pathologies. In this way, they will be able to jointly develop new methods to facilitate the detection of pathogens and to understand the evolution of the disease. This technique should allow you to choose the appropriate treatment for each patient.
Through this partnership, the Nîmes CHU intends to consolidate its links with innovation actors. By the end of 2025, this agreement will also help to multiply innovative projects.
