Graha Persib or the Maung Bandung team office on Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City was raided by a number of unscrupulous supporters after Persib Bandung lost to Persija Jakarta in the final Menpora Cup, Sunday (25/4) night. Following is the chronology of Persib’s office damaged by the supporters.
According to witness Lukman, a security officer at the management office of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, the crowd using two-wheeled vehicles arrived at around 22.30 WIB from the direction of the Balubur and Dago areas.
The masses who arrived at first were dozens and gathered on the sidewalk near Graha Persib.
“They gather in front of the office, turn on flare. Continue, from the direction of Dago lit. flare again, “said Lukman.
The action did not last long. The security forces arrived and the crowd dispersed.
Another officer at Graha Persib, Rukandi, said that the dispersed crowd returned at around 23.00 WIB. Their numbers were bigger and they were desperate to throw their way towards Persib’s headquarters.
Rukandi said that apart from throwing flares at the cafe on the second floor, the crowd also threw shards paving block. Throwing was also carried out towards the entrance to Graha Persib.
There were no fatalities in the incident.
“After the situation calmed down somewhat, the crowd came back and threw them at the cafe. There were chairs in the cafe that were damaged by flares,” said Rukandi.
According to Rukandi, the masses who came were in the hundreds. At that time, the security forces could not contain them because of the large crowd.
The atmosphere was finally conducive after security officers dispersed the crowd.
“It seems more than 100. When the incident yesterday, there were only three security guards here,” said Rukandi.

Director of PT Persib Bandung with dignity (PBB) Teddy Tjahjono condemned the attack on Persib headquarters by unscrupulous supporters after the final match of the 2021 Menpora Cup second leg, Sunday (25/4) night.
“We deeply regret this incident and strongly condemn any of the supporters who carried out this action,” said Director of PT Persib Bandung with dignity (PBB) Teddy Tjahjono to CNNIndonesia.com.

The attack on Persib Bandung office by unscrupulous supporters occurred after the defeat suffered by Persib Bandung in the 2021 Menpora Cup final. So far, CNNIndonesia.com has not been able to get a statement from any Persib supporters group regarding this destruction.
Persib Bandung must be satisfied to be runner-up after losing 1-4 on aggregate to Persija Jakarta in the 201 Menpora Cup final. Persib Bandung lost 0-2 in the first leg, and fell 1-2 in the second leg.
