Installed Monday, November 30 in the afternoon, Place Marceau, by the agents of the green spaces service of the City of Chartres, the 12 m high Nordmann offered by the Bois-Paris garden center, in Nogent-le-Phaye , continued its transformation into a Christmas tree, Tuesday, December 1.

Les Vitrines de Chartres, in partnership with Citéos, took care of its decoration. The former bought all the necessary ornaments, recycling some of those from last year: bows, balls, stars and large bells in green, red and gold. Four Citéos agents, equipped with two nacelles, were responsible for putting everything in place on the tree and installing the light garlands lent by the company.

They should shine on Friday, for the first time, like the rest of the city’s illuminations. But health crisis requires, there will undoubtedly be no inauguration this year.
The Vitrines de Chartres will also liven up the entrance to the Place des Halles during the end of the year celebrations. Automatons must be installed there Wednesday, December 2, in a Christmas-themed decor.
