The production of the popular ID3 and ID4 models, as well as the Audi Q4 e-tron and Cupra Born, take place in Cvikov. It can therefore be expected that the availability of these cars may be worse in the short term.
The electric car segment is very important for the entire Volkswagen Group. In the third quarter of this year, the group produced 122,100 pure battery electric cars. This represents an increase of 109% over the same period last year. Volkswagen will want to continue growing, so any outages certainly do not play into his cards.
