The Chinese New Year celebrations in Dresden — TU Dresden — TU Dresden

More than 1600 Chinese students come to the TU Dresden every year to study here or to complete a semester abroad. The student reporter Richard wanted to get to know this community better and was invited by his fellow student Zuowei to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. The most important traditional holiday in China was celebrated on February 1st this year and heralded the “Year of the Tiger”. The new student report shows what it is all about, which traditions belong to the festival and how Zuowei came to the TU Dresden in the first place:

In the video series, students Richard and Alina show university and campus life outside of the lecture hall. They visit and test sports offers, intercultural diversity, university groups and workshops. The reports are prepared, carried out and supervised in post-production by a student team. The student marketing supports this and wants to show the wide range of leisure activities around the university with the format “Richard & Alina test …”.

There are more student videos on the channel »TUDtry«.
