Also today, China and Nauru signed the joint communiqué on the restoration of diplomatic relations.
Lionel Aingimea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Nauru, told KMG that his country’s government recognizes the principle of “one China” and ends its official ties with Taiwan, and described this decision as correct and giving new chances for the development of Nauru.
He expressed hope that the KMG Correspondence Bureau will actively present Nauru to the world.
