Astrid Lindgren‘s story has become a favorite childhood book of readers for several generations. It tells of summer adventures on the island of Sālsvarna and inspires with the magic of childhood that is imaginatively described, children’s love of adventure, true and sincere friendships, as well as the majesty of nature, inviting the children to explore the world around them.

The creative team under the direction of director Paulas Pļavniecs uses diverse solutions in creating the show to bring the characters and mood of Lindgren to life, creating a warm and interesting experience for children and their parents who read the book once upon a time.
