Do you see complications in the planned return of the youngest children to school and in the measures?
A snag could occur in small schools. If only freshmen and sophomores were to join there, it would mean for them to divide a group composed of several years. Half would be at home and the other at school. The directors of small classes appealed to me a lot so that this would not happen. There are many small schools, that is almost a third of all schools. It is a closed group, and in addition they have a small number of children in the classroom. There are not even twenty of them, which is common in the city. And according to preliminary negotiations with the ministry, it seems that these schools could have the exception that the combined classes could start in full.

Do you mind veils all the time at school?
We probably can handle it, but we know there are veil rejectors here. We will have to resolve what to do with them and their children who are likely to refuse to send to school.

Would it also not be possible to apply an individual educational plan here, ie home teaching in combination with personal consultations?
That way it could work, that would be good.

How are the parents of your freshmen and sophomores doing?
Most return will be appreciated and are a small group of those who are concerned. Some are now in nursing care, so they are losing part of their income. Others have to work from home, which is difficult to combine with teaching. Parents are harshly harnessed at home because of such small children. They are frustrated with their jobs, and they have a legitimate impression that they are doing our job. For most of them, this is definitely a great relief.

Will the pupils themselves welcome the return among their friends, to the teacher, even at the cost of wearing veils all day long?
The vast majority of children are already looking forward to it, 100% the first-graders. Of course, veils are a necessary evil that we are willing to undergo, because it is possible that teaching, at least for the youngest ones, will be.

And are veils for children really such a problem?
At first it seemed to us that yes, I didn’t like it either, but we can see that even small children work in veils abroad. We have also learned to wear certain types of drapes in which you can breathe better. And when it’s worst, the class will go out for a walk and rest from them for a while. It’s not nice to be in veils all day, but it turns out that children can do it.

Cantors should not spin in the classroom. Will an Englishman, for example, be able to get involved?
Many schools do not teach English until the third year, but there are also those that teach it from the first grade. An English teacher can attend classes, but there is a rule that he should not teach in more than three classes.
–
How are teachers looking forward to the return of full-time teaching?
The vast majority in these young children clearly. Sometimes I see, for example, very skilful teachers, who are not technically proficient and distance learning does not suit them for many reasons. They suffer from it and de facto pray every day so that they can have their children back in school. But there will also be cantors who are afraid, and they will probably not be completely enthusiastic.

Surely the problem is learning to type on a computer?
Yes. It is not possible without parents and cooperation with them is not completely cloudless. Almost everyone will really rest. If the paramedics have allowed and allowed it, I am happy as a teacher.
