Ammon – Adhara Perez is a child who dazzled the world when she was tested and got a higher IQ than two of the greatest physicists in the world, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, and today the world will stand amazed at her unprecedented achievement, as she will soon obtain a master’s degree in engineering, not exceeding eleven years old.
• A young girl suffering from autism and bullying
According to timesofindia.indiatimes.com, Adhara Pérez Sánchez has always suffered from bullying. Adhara grew up in the low-income neighborhood of Tláhuac, Mexico, in Veracruz. She was often bullied because of her developmental disability. When she was three years old, she was diagnosed with autism. A developmental disorder that can lead to challenges in social interactions and communication, Adhara’s mother, Naili Sanchez, told French magazine marieclaire.com that her daughter “was very depressed, people weren’t sympathetic to her, a lot of people made fun of her.”
According to the mother, as a result of this, the little girl began to exclude herself, did not want to play with her classmates, and felt strange and different. “She could have stayed at school for a while, but she couldn’t. Going to school meant going to sleep. She didn’t even want to do the things she did before,” says Sanchez. Explaining that the unkind behavior of other children and even teachers made her parents change schools three times.
“The teachers weren’t very sympathetic,” says Sanchez. “They told me they wished my daughter would finish an assignment, and then my daughter started to exclude herself, didn’t want to play with her classmates, and devoted herself to feeling strange and different.”
• How did the mother discover her daughter’s amazing intelligence?
According to timesofindia.indiatimes.com, to help her daughter deal with the bullying, Adhara’s mother enrolled her in therapy sessions and went with her to the Center for Attention to Giftedness (CEDAT), a school for gifted children. It was through school that her amazing IQ was confirmed in school, and she finished elementary school at the age of five, followed by middle school and high school in just one year.
The little girl has an IQ of 162 which is higher than that of Einstein and Stephen Hawking, and her IQ was recognized by the Mexican Senate in 2021.
• An inspiring story of success and perseverance despite challenges
The story of Adhara’s brilliance has become an inspiration for everyone. The mother confirmed that, despite these obstacles, Adhara did not let her time pass in vain, as she was flexible and persevering, so she taught herself algebra and memorized the periodic table, and faced many challenges, and Adhara remained determined to achieve her goal and advance educationally, until she was eleven years old. She has already obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from CNCI University and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Mathematics at the Technological University of Mexico, the University of Arizona recently offered her a scholarship to study astrophysics, but it was postponed due to visa issues, as Adhara aspires to be an astronaut at NASA, and “becoming an astronaut and touching the moon.”
An impossible dream come true
Adhara continues to inspire people all over the world. Recently, Adhara, through her official account on the Instagram website, expressed her happiness at meeting the officials of the Mexican Space Agency who hosted her recently and said: “I feel very happy to belong to the group of women towards space of the Mexican Space Agency,” noting, “When I was five years old … I dreamed that To be part of this great institution and to elevate my country, and now I am proud to be part of this wonderful project.She thanked those who gave her the opportunity to meet, saying: “Thank you to the beautiful people who gave me the opportunity to meet the great astronaut Katia Echazarretakatvoltage that motivates me to keep going and makes it clear that dreams are come true.”
She adds: “I want to share this joy with all the girls and boys in the world and tell them to follow their dreams, and science and technology will continue to gain importance on our beautiful planet, defining the present and the future through great innovations.”
• Don’t give up
According to the French magazine marieclaire.com, Adhara already has two university degrees: Industrial Systems Engineering and Mathematics Engineering. Now, she is about to enter a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in the Graduate Studies and Research Department at the National Polytechnic Institute (where her master’s research will focus on structural damage and nuclear science, as she wrote on her official Instagram page).
Also in Mexico, Aadhara spotlights “El heraldo,” where she works with the Mexican Space Agency to help young girls with space exploration and mathematics. She also finishes her G exams that could open doors for her to join NASA as a young scientist, though when she passes the exams, Aadhara will turn 17 and be the first person with autism to fly.
Adhara has written a book entitled “Don’t Give Up”, where she talks about her experience with the autism spectrum, her space dream and how she is on the road to achieving this dream. To prepare for a doctorate
