Tuxpan, Ver.- (Vanguard of Veracruz).- The Tuxpan government held a civic event on Monday at the municipal esplanade, with the participation of students from the “Antonia Nava” primary school, in which they commemorated the Heroic Deed of the Boy Heroes of Chapultepec, which is celebrated on September 13.
Present were the Director of Education, Professor Jorge Arturo García Robles, representing Mayor José Manuel Pozos Castro; the teacher Guadalupe Castellanos del Ángel, director of the “Antonia Nava” primary school; and Professor Eleuterio Samuel Salazar Escalante, supervisor of School Zone 06 of state primary schools.
Infantry Lieutenant Fabián Leonardo Lereyo Cruz, representing the 19th Military Zone; Ms. María Inés Cruz Velasco, representing the Regional Delegation of the SEV; Ms. Estefani Isabel Cobos, representing the Seventh Council of the city council.
Students Gustavo Caleb, Alexis, Eva, Osvaldo Jafet, Paulina Marie, and Yamileth Guadalupe presented the week’s anniversaries, while student Camila Apolonia presented a historical review alluding to September 13. The Pledge of Allegiance was directed by student Isamara Zoé.
The event was also attended by teaching and administrative staff, as well as parents of the participating school, the rifle section and the marching band of the 39th Infantry Battalion, members of Civil Protection and the Honorable Fire Department.
DAD
