The child (2) ends up in the water and dies in Doesburg

A 2-year-old boy died tonight after falling into the water in Doesburg.

Earlier in the evening, the police distributed a request through Burgernet to look after a missing 2-year-old child. Moments later, the emergency services received a report on someone in the water, he writes Gelderland transmission.

The child was resuscitated, but it was no longer possible. The police are investigating the incident.
