Samsung Galaxy A13 reveals further details. We already know what processor will become its heart – when can we expect the premiere and how much will we pay for the cheapest smartphone with 5G connectivity?
Smartphones with 5G in 2021 have already taken over a large part of our market. Xiaomi is the leader in this matter, but Samsung is trying hard to chase him. The cheapest smartphone with 5G connectivity from Samsung is currently Galaxy A22 5G. We will pay for it in the official Polish sale 1149 zlotys.
However, the manufacturer does not plan to stop there and is already working on an even cheaper model, the Galaxy A13. This smartphone has already appeared on Geekbench – it bears the model number SM-A136U there.
According to the platform, the equipment will be equipped with a processor MediaTek Dimensity 700. This is nothing new – it is exactly the same system that can be found in the above-mentioned, more expensive Galaxy A22 5G!
What else do we know about the Galaxy A13?
Geekbench also reveals that the smartphone will debut, working on Android 11. The Galaxy A13 will be on board 4 GB RAM – so it’s not much. It would be good if the 6 GB variant was also available for sale, and we keep our fingers crossed.
Earlier leaks also revealed which camera this cheap Samsung will be equipped with. The main sensor (Samsung ISOCELL JN1) is to have 50 megapixels – it will probably be accompanied by three more sensors: wide angle, macro and depth sensor. So here we have the potential for a solid unit.
Samsung Galaxy A13 is to receive a large battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. This is good news, especially for those who care about long battery life – we won’t have to worry about that.

Price and premiere
The biggest secret of the upcoming smartphone is still its price – following the starting price of the Galaxy A22 5G, we can probably expect a valuation at the level of about PLN 900-1000.
The Galaxy A13 5G will most likely be released in the next few weeks. It will certainly happen this year, 2021. Will it be a competition for the Galaxy mediums already on the market?
