It is not at all easy to find the third-generation iPhone SE in stores at home. There is great interest in the cheapest 64GB version (sold for CZK 12,490), which is hopelessly sold out.

Of the higher capacities, which of course have a higher price tag, sometimes one or two pieces appear in stock. But as in all previous cases, first come, first served – no large stocks can be talked about.

For the sake of completeness, let’s add that the 128GB version will cost potential applicants CZK 13,990. The most expensive is the 256GB version, which costs CZK 16,990. This version is most often in stock in units of pieces at domestic retailers.

But Apple does not seem to have a delivery problem, and the unavailability of the cheapest iPhone should be resolved very soon. The American computer giant informs on its website that it is able to deliver phones within one or two days when ordering through the official e-shop.

The new iPhone SE is significantly cheaper than last year’s top models with the number 13 in the name. Even the most expensive version of the iPhone SE is cheaper than the basic offer of the iPhone 13 mini, which Apple currently offers in its official store for CZK 19,990. The equally powerful iPhone 13 Pro will then cost at least CZK 22,990.

Versions with the word Pro, which have more powerful graphics, better quality cameras and a number of other improvements, are of course even more expensive. The basic iPhone 13 Pro costs CZK 28,990, the larger iPhone 13 Pro Max costs CZK 31,990 – but in the case of the version with the largest memory, the price tag can easily climb to more than CZK 47,000.

What can iPhone SE do?
Apple can offer such a low price for the iPhone SE because it has placed new powerful components in the older body. That’s why the novelty looks like the iPhone 8, but inside it has the same processor as the best iPhone 13 Pro, namely the Apple A15 Bionic. In other words, the performance is the same as the most expensive iPhone.

Thanks to this chip, the iPhone SE also boasts 5G connectivity, which was missing in the previous lightweight SE version. Given that the previous generation of the iPhone SE was introduced in 2020, it is clear that the novelty will offer at least two years longer support for the iOS operating system, so it will serve users longer.

But there are also concessions. Instead of a large OLED panel that covers the entire front, the novelty has only a 4.7-inch Retina display with large frames above and below the display. So the design definitely doesn’t look as good as the iPhone 13.
