The change of time will affect the movement of trains on the night of Sunday – 2024-10-26 05:57:00

The upcoming time change, on the night of Sunday /October 27/, will require changes in the timetable of 14 passenger trains. During the transition from summer to winter time, it is necessary for the trains to stop at different railway stations on the night between 10/26/2024 and 10/27/2024. This is necessary in order not to disrupt the train schedule.

The existing practice in rail transport when changing from summer to winter time is for trains to make a stop within 60 minutes at the first station on their routes when approaching 04:00 after midnight. In this way, the schedule of trains is not disturbed and their passing through the respective stations is avoided earlier than announced, which would lead to serious confusion in the schedule of other trains connecting with the trains affected by the time change.

The change from summer to winter time this year will affect the following trains that will stop at the nearest train station:

• International high-speed train No. 492 from Istanbul to Sofia will stop at Lyubimets station;
• Fast train No. 2626 from Varna to Sofia (via Gorna Oryahovitsa) will stop at Roman station;
• Fast train No. 2627 from Sofia to Varna (via Gorna Oryahovitsa) will stop at Popovo station;
• Fast train No. 3636 from Varna to Sofia (via Karlovo) will stop at Karlovo station;
• Fast train No. 3637 from Sofia to Varna (via Karlovo) will stop at Zimnitsa station;
• Fast train No. 8626 from Burgas to Sofia (via Plovdiv) will stop at Ihtiman station;
• Fast train No. 8627 from Sofia to Burgas (via Plovdiv) will stop at Yambol station;
• Fast train No. 8656 from Varna to Sofia (via Plovdiv) will stop at Chirpan station;
• Fast train No. 8657 from Sofia to Varna (via Plovdiv) will stop at Komunari station;
• Fast train No. 9647 from Sofia to Silistra will stop at Razgrad station;
• Passenger train No. 10120 from September to Bankya will stop at Belovo station;
• Passenger train No. 16101 from September to Dobrinishte will stop at Dolene station;
• Passenger train No. 30151 from Karnobat to Varna will stop at Podvis station;
