Actor Arjun Radhakrishnan said that he could not sleep for two days after the house scene shot at night in Kannur Squad. In an interview to Saina South Plus, Arjun said that the four to five hours spent after that scene were not easy at all. Arjun Radhakrishnan played the main villain in Kannur Squad.
‘I couldn’t sleep for two nights after doing the night scene at home. Acting. But the body is doing an action. The four to five hours after doing that were not easy at all,’ said Arjun.
Dhruvan, who played another villain in the film, said that sometimes we cannot commit a murder in real life, but when we do it in the film, we get the feeling of doing that character. Dhruvan said that he is not saying this as a psycho.
Kannur Squad hit the theaters on September 28. Directed by debutant Robbie Varghese Raj, Mammootty’s Kannur Squad was a success at the box office along with critical acclaim.
The film was also released on OTT on November 17. The movie is streaming on Disney Plus Hot Star. After the OTT release, the film received great praise from foreign language audiences. Kannur Squad received good word of mouth publicity in OTT as it did during the theatrical release.
The name of the character played by Mammootty is George Martin. Sabreesh Verma, Roni, Aziz Nedumangad and Vijayaraghavan played other important characters.
