The CGEM and the CCG join forces to support business financing

Chakib Alj, President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and Hicham Zanati Serghini, Managing Director of the Central Guarantee Fund (CCG), signed a partnership agreement on Friday, December 4, set up a new mediation service called “Corridor CGEM-CCG”.

This initiative is part of the CCG’s actions in favor of businesses. It also falls within the framework of the program of the mandate of the current Presidency of the CGEM which has provided for the establishment of new services with high added value for the members of the Confederation and the strengthening of the operational proximity of the latter with very small businesses. -SME.

The two parties will thus work together to promote the entire CCG product offer to CGEM member companies through the joint organization of regional workshops and seminars, for enhanced and extended communication. As part of this partnership, the CCG will also mobilize its network of regional business centers in order to increase the proximity and accessibility of all of its products and services for businesses.

“We welcome this partnership which will allow our two institutions to further strengthen their support for businesses in all regions of Morocco. The CGEM-CCG Corridor is a high-impact service which constitutes, for small businesses in particular, a fast-track to solve the problems they encounter in terms of financing, ” underlines the president of the CGEM.

For Hicham Zanati Serghini, Director General of the CCG: “The signing of this agreement strengthens our already fruitful collaboration with the CGEM. We are in fact fully mobilized to provide the best support to businesses for better access to our various financing mechanisms ”.

During this meeting, Zanati Serghini announced the extension of the drawdown period on Damane Relance credits from 6 to 12 months.

Partners of choice, the CGEM and the CCG will continue to synergize their respective expertise to support national companies, particularly in the economic climate marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.
