“Carles Fontserè and Camilo José Cela. Amarga New York” is the title of the exhibition that the Galician Center for Contemporary Art (CGAC) dedicates to the unfinished project with which the Galician Nobel Prize winner tried to portray the North American city and its people from the images of the Barcelona poster and photographer.
The structure of the exhibition, which can be visited from tomorrow, rigorously follows the scheme devised by Cela as an index to articulate the book: a total of 28 chapters, of which only five very short texts were written, the titles of which suggest vivid images of the city and its people.
