The connection via xDLS and CETIN optics has been facing (allegedly) nationwide outages since today at 3.15 pm, currently for three hours.
UPDATE 19:05 – “CETIN has a partial outage, traffic is routed through backup routes. However, some customers may not have a working wired Internet connection. We are working intensively to eliminate the defect. We will inform you about the complete elimination of the fault. We apologize to all those affected by the outage, “confirmed a CETIN spokesperson to Lupa Klára Zavadilová. The same text appeared as well on the CETIN twitter account.
For example, a company Pe3ny.NET, which provides its services through the CETIN infrastructure, states on its website:
“Dear customers, at the moment there is a complete outage of the CETIN network, which provides services via telephone lines and optics. In our case, this applies to the xDSL and xOPTI tariffs. “

O2 TV users have also been complaining about problems since the afternoon – see Some O2 TV customers again complain about the unavailability of the service.
The failure was also confirmed to users by other operators, such as T-Mobile:
(not so) BREAKING: if you register a fixed Internet outage from T-Mobile, it is a widespread problem that will be solved. Asked on the infoline for you 🙂
