This year’s World Rally Championship season is coming to an end. Even before the last event in Japan, the Central European Rally will take place, which consists of special stages in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria. The program of the nutritious rally weekend will take place from October 26 to 29 and will start in Prague, specifically on Hradčany Square. All 68 crews, including twenty-one Czech participants, will present themselves here.
One of the most prominent domestic stars on the list is the driver Erik Cais, who won a point for tenth place in the WRC category at the Sardinia rally, while in the WRC2 ranking he is in seventeenth place with twenty championship points. His compatriot Daniel Trunkát will be his partner in the competitive Fabia.
Other Czech participants include the duo of Jan Skála and Jiří Skořepa (Hyundai i20 N), Adam Březík and Ondřej Krajča or Štěpán Vojtěch and Michal Ernst (all in Škoda Fabia Evo). You can find a complete overview of all Czechs at the start of the Central European Rally 2023 in the overview below.

In addition to the numerous representation of “ours”, fans can also look forward to a complete world top. Finnish championship leader Kalle Rovanperä, British Elfyn Evans and Belgian rider Thierry Neuville will not be missing at the start (and not only) in the Czech Republic.
Just a reminder that the ceremony on Hradčanské náměstí starts on Thursday, October 26, from 1:00 p.m. The first super speed Velká Chuchle starts at 14:05, four hours later the riders are to go to the next test in Klatovy. On Friday, the drivers will be challenged in the form of six more special stages, after which the competition program will move abroad.
