“Our customers have no reason to worry. All the money that customers entrust to us is completely safe,” the management assures us.
“Suspected Fraud”
As the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań told PAP, the investigation was started at the beginning of October after he contacted the Polish Financial Investigation Authority. The spokesperson of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań, Prosecutor Anna Marszałek, explained that the KNF notification was first sent to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zielona Góra.

The prosecutor said that due to the same business entities involved in the calls, “these two cases have been combined and are being held under one reference number in our prosecutor’s office.”
At this time, the prosecutor’s office is not providing further information about the proceedings.
At the beginning of September and October, the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority announced that it was carrying out subsequent actions consumer complaints regarding the provision of currency exchange services by the currency exchange office cinkciarz.pl. The Competition and Consumer Protection Office also said it had received 13 complaints from customers about the company. The company also argues that the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority is breaking the law with its actions against the holding companies, and in particular with its decision to withdraw Conotoxia’s license to operate in the field of payment services.
Cinkciarz.pl emphasizes its position on the market as a company registered in Poland that offers online money exchange and SWIFT membership, which confirms its international reach. The company reports a million customers.
