Today, the Central Bank of Egypt issued new instructions to banks, aimed at supporting customers whose cash flows have been affected during the current Corona crisis, after the end of the period of delaying the payment of loan installments .. And the “seventh day” publishes the text of the instructions issued by the signature of Tarek Amer, governor of the Central Bank of Egypt.
The Central Bank of Egypt indicated that the instructions came with the end of the credit dues postponement period that began 6 months ago, for each bank to conduct a careful review of the existing credit facilities, and study the position of all customers and their future cash flows, with the aim of determining the appropriate measures that will be taken. To deal with them, provided that these procedures are consistent with their ability to pay, and without representing pressure on the liquidity of the companies to enable them to continue their business, as well as for individuals whose incomes have been negatively affected.
