A profession that recruits, to which we can train from the age of 17, without condition of diploma. While registrations are in full swing, in view of the training sessions which will begin at the start of the September school year, the Center-Val de Loire region and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) launched a communication campaign last month. destined to highlight the profession of nursing assistant and attract new candidates.

This campaign comes in the form short videos, broadcast on Youtube, in which professionals tell about their journey and their daily lives.

Today, more than 20,000 nursing assistants are active in the Center region and more than 1,300 students are in training in one of the 16 training institutes in the region (the Loiret has two in Orléans and Châlette-sur-Loing, plus two branches in Briare and Pithiviers).

A l’issue d’10 months training, divided equally between theoretical teaching and internships, students obtain the diploma in 95% of cases of State Nursing Assistant (DEAS). They can then practice in health facilities, facilities for the elderly, or at home. And can move towards other healthcare professions as paramedics or nurses.
It is now possible to register for a nursing assistant training in Pithiviers
If the profession is predominantly female – about nine students out of 10 – the president of the Center-Val de Loire region hopes that this communication campaign will help attract candidates, and not just candidates.
Registrations in training institutes for nursing assistants in the region are open until June 1st. For practical details, it’s this way. From 2022, new promotions will also be launched in January and not just at the start of the September school year.
