The center excluded four people, including Thomas Isaac and AM Arif, from the inauguration ceremony

Alappuzha: The central government has excluded two ministers and two MPs from the Alappuzha bypass inauguration function. Their names are not on the list released by the office of Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Ministers Thomas Isaac and p. Thilothamana and MPs AM Arif and KC Venugopal were also excluded.

The inauguration of the Alappuzha Bypass is being organized by the Central Ministry of Surface Transport and the National Highways Authority. Therefore, Kerala can only suggest who should participate. Kerala has asked the Central Government to include those who have been left out. Meanwhile, Union Minister V. Muraleedharan and Transport Minister Vijay Kumar Singh have been included in the list.

Kerala submitted a letter to the Center seeking correction. It will be inaugurated on the 28th of this month. The bypass has been completed at a cost of Rs 350 crore with the participation of the Central Government. The length of the bypass is 6.8 km. The weight test of the bridge was completed. Four and a half decades later, the dream of a bypass, which began in 1987, is coming true.
