The maneuver to leave the basin afloat took place around 8:30 am in good sea and wind conditions, the Celebrity Apex left the docking dock by sounding its fog horn on the estuary, to make way at MSC Virtuosa.

The Celebrity Apex left the port of Saint-Nazaire this Sunday morning, August 23. The weather was fine, and the sight of the 306-meter-long ship drew a large crowd.
The maneuver initially planned for last Wednesday had to be postponed due to the strong wind which did not allow the ship to pass in good sailing conditions through the Joubert form.

As of tomorrow, Monday August 24, the MSC Virtuosa will leave the C basin of the shipyards to take its place at the Penhoët quay. The maneuver is scheduled from 7.45 am. A spectacular show guaranteed for early risers from the Vieux Môle!
