What happened?

This Monday, August 23, the deadline to register the candidacies in the Servel for the parliamentary elections of next November expires and several celebrities are running for Parliament in different areas of Chile.

Check out below the names that are presented and who seek to take advantage of their fame to get their ideas to more voters.

Christian Pino Lanata

Cristian Contreras

The journalist, current deputy for District 12, will stand for reelection after speculating about a possible Senate candidacy and even leading some polls ahead of the presidential election.

Sebastian Keitel

After being a deputy for District 9 (Cerro Navia, Conchalí, Huechuraba, Independencia, Lo Prado, Quinta Normal, Recoleta and Renca), the former athlete will now seek to be a senator for the Biobío region in the Evópoli quota.
