The C’Chartres TT to be seen even higher this Sunday in Saint-Denis

From one extreme to the other. Four days after offering 3-1 to leaders Angers, the C’Chartres TT is scheduled for this Sunday November 13 at the red light in Saint-Denis. An opponent not to be taken lightly.

Chartres offers the champion of France Angers

“When we look at the results from the beginning of the season, we tell ourselves that anything can happen in this league,” warns Emmanuel Rassouw, coach of C’Chartres TT, on the occasion of this short trip to Seine-Saint-Denis.

On paper, the Ile-de-France team looks much less equipped than Les Loups d’Angers, which the CCTT just tamed 3-1. Especially with the probable absence of Andréa Landrieu, injured and replaced by Joe Seyfried, alongside the Swede Pär Gerell and Mehdi Bouuloussa.

But this trio had beaten Caen 3-1 at the start of the championship and then gave Thorigné a hard time (2-3), before losing 3-1 in Pontoise-Cergy.

At stake is a co-leader position

“Against Angers the boys didn’t play particularly well, but they fought hard (editor’s note: like the Argentinian Horacio Cifuentes who reversed against Hampus Nordberg). We have given so much, but we must not give up. It would be a shame to waste the benefit of our victory,” underlines Emmanuel Rassouw.

With the same team as Wednesday, therefore without the Japanese Yuta Tanaka, Chartres will want to win a third success that will allow him to climb up to the leaders Rouen. What to see even more…
