The C’Chartres TT continues to Thorigné-Fouillard

Great week for the C’Chartres TT. Already victorious 3-0 by Pontoise-Cergy on Tuesday, Emmanuel Rassouw’s side achieved a second success in three days by winning 3-1 at Thorigné-Fouillard on matchday 7 of ProA, this Friday 25 November.

At the promoted, the first two singles of the evening were highly contested. Hungary’s Bence Majoros offered the CCTT’s first point by resisting the return of Iran’s Noshad Alamian to win in style 11-4.

But, in the wake of this perf ‘against the Breton leader, whom the Euréliens had never beaten, Yuta Tanaka was surprised by the hopeful Jules Rolland. The Japanese lost 11-6 in the deciding set, after coming back from a two-set handicap, suffering his first ever loss in ProA.

After the hiatus, things plummeted in favor of the CCTT. It was first the impeccable Argentinian Horacio Cifuentes who gave him the lead again by beating 3-0 Vincent Picard, a former Chartres player. Then vengeful Yuta Tanaka tamed Noshad Alamiyan with the same score.

With this success, the Chartrains reached the championship podium, in 3rd place. Next meeting on December 13, still in Brittany, but near Hennebont (Morbihan).
