Later this year will have to enter the battlefields of the future in Battlefield 2042, but before that it can be good to take a good look back to see what the game series has looked like through the ages. GameSpot has released such a video where we get to see how the game series developed from Battlefield 1942 which was released almost 20 years ago to the coming 2042.

Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
