The Brooklyn Nets had a back-to-back second game with the Cleveland Cavaliers today. The Cavaliers won the playoffs with the team’s leading point guard Collin Sexton in the last game. This game was played by Kevin Durant, one of the Nets Big Three. In the absence, Sexton once again handed in excellent statistics, leading the Cavaliers to a 125-113 reward to the Nets for a second-game losing streak.
Sexton continued the good performance of the previous game, scoring 25 points and 9 assists. Head center Andre Drummond had 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Jarrett Allen had 19 points and 6 rebounds against his former club. Larry Nance Jr. had 15 points and 10 Rebounds.
For the Nets, Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 38 points and 5 assists, James Harden had 19 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists, and Jeff Green scored 13 points.
In the first half, the two teams were in a fierce battle. You come and go. Irving alone scored 18 points in the first half, and Sexton was not too panic. He scored 11 points and 6 assists in the first half. The Cavaliers entered the second half by 1 point.
At the beginning of the third quarter, the two teams still maintained a fairly small gap, but the Nets only relied on Irving to play, led by Cavaliers Sexton and Nance, pulling the score to 14 points.
