The cause of the FlixBus accident is being saved. The condition of the injured is better than it seemed

Thirty people were taken to hospitals, all but one were released on Saturday, the DPA agency wrote today, referring to a spokesman for the German police.

Both German police and FlixBus originally reported that three people had suffered moderate injuries. Police later adjusted the figure and reported that only one person was seriously injured. Some of those classified as slightly injured had only abrasions, the DPA reported today.

FlixBus reported that there were 30 passengers and two drivers on the bus. According to the German police, these were people from the Czech Republic, Germany, Britain, Turkey, Romania, Albania, China, India and Egypt.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, according to a statement by a police spokesman in Rostock on Saturday, it could have been the micro-sleep of a 47-year-old Czech driver. FlixBus spokesman Sebastian Meyer told DPA on Saturday that driving and rest times were met along the way.
