In 1969 the theater group of the cathedral parish was founded in Würzburg. With the exception of 1988, a new piece was performed every year. Last year the self-written piece ?? Auszeit ?? the 50th anniversary of theatrical performances will be celebrated.
A new piece had already been selected for 2020, the roles had been assigned and the rehearsals set before the corona pandemic slowed everything down. The decision was made together with a heavy heart to cancel this year’s theater season and to take a corona-related break.
Now the theater group of the cathedral parish hopes that the visitors will remain loyal to it until a new start on the stage of the Matthias-Ehrenfried-Haus in November 2021.
