The championship was held in the premises of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of Riga Technical University in Ķīpsala and gathered 117 participants: 74 from Latvia, 21 from Estonia, 20 from Lithuania and one each from Finland and Slovakia.
16-year-old Zass has become the “Catan” Baltic champion, getting the opportunity to go to the “Catan” European Championship, which will be held at the end of October in Copenhagen, Denmark. The second place was won by the Latvian Dainis Reinholds, the third by Evita Oļehnoviča, and the fourth by the Lithuanian representative Karolis Norkus.
