The police are asking for observations regarding the shooting of a cat in Lake Tohmajärvi.

The Eastern Finland Police Department informs that a cat was shot in Tohmajärvi in North Karelia last Sunday.
The cat had been shot with a small-caliber weapon in the yard of the residential building.
According to the police, the exact location of the incident is on Tohmajärvi Road, about ten kilometers from Kiihtelysvaara village towards Tohmajärvi.
The police are asking for observations about the shooting of the cat to [email protected], to the hotline at 0295 415 232 or to the police emergency at 0295 415 320.
Iltalehti could not reach the head of the investigation on Tuesday.
