The cast in the “Knives Out” sequel is starting to take shape | MovieZine

More and more actors are joining Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” sequel, which will begin filming in Greece this summer. And just like last time, it is bedded for a star-studded murder mystery in the best Agatha Christie stucco.

Janelle Monaé (“Antebellum”) is relevant for a role according to Hollywood Reporter, terrain Deadline reports on the casting of Edward Norton. Their roles are still secret and so was the case with the first “Knives Out”, until the film was filmed and the marketing started.

Earlier this week was Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) the first new actor on board. The only one expected to return from “Knives Out” is Daniel Craig in the role of the wayward master detective Benoit Blanc.

More big names will be announced in the coming weeks, so expect this news to be updated.

“Knives Out 2” – and we suspect the title will change – is produced directly for Netflix, which has already ordered a third film.
