Upheld Court of Cassation Al-Khamis Circuit, today, the ruling issued by the Mansoura Criminal Court, to life imprisonment for a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at a private university, for convicting him of killing his wife, a dentist, by stabbing them in their home in the studies area in the city of Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate, in July of 2021, after he got rid of her during her prayers due to repeated disputes. It was between them.
The Court of Cassation’s ruling was issued in Appeal No. 6613 of 92, felonies of murder, in Case No. 11036 of 2021, registered as No. 2658 of 2021, all of South Mansoura, after the accused appealed the life imprisonment sentence issued against him.
The accused ended his wife’s life by killing her after inflicting 17 fatal stab wounds on her while she was performing the dawn prayer in various parts of the body, due to marital disputes after five years of marriage, with whom he had three children, including a child with special needs.
The details of the incident came back when the first general attorney of the South Mansoura Prosecution referred “Mahmoud M. A.”, 27 years old, imprisoned, a lecturer at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at a private university, and a resident of the Mansoura Second Department Circuit, because on 7/22/2021 he was in the Second Department Circuit. Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate – The victim, Yasmine Hassan Youssef Youssef Hassan, was killed intentionally – with premeditation. That he had the intention and determination to take her life, and as soon as he got hold of her, he stabbed her several times with a white weapon (a knife), inflicting on her the injury described in the anatomical report that claimed her life.
