As reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, a 38-year-old woman, being a senior cashier in one of the city’s grocery stores, in the evening entered the day’s earnings into the safe in the administrator’s office. Handing over the cash, the woman quietly took 6 thousand rubles from there and left. Later, she spent the money she took in one of the city’s casinos, losing the entire amount almost immediately.
Previously, she also spent money from the family budget on this entertainment.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee. The police recalled that misappropriation or embezzlement of property by a person entrusted to him, committed on a large scale, is punishable by restriction of freedom or imprisonment for a term of two to five years with or without a fine and with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
