jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The House of Representatives’ Honorary Court (MKD) held a meeting following news that Arteria Dahlan was summoned by the police after the PDIP faction member was involved in an argument with a young woman at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.

Previously, the quarrel between Arteria and his mother with the young woman who claimed the general’s son, had a long tail.

Both parties took legal action and made a report to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police regarding the incident.

The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police has also scheduled a summons for Arteria, both as a reporter and the reported party.

Deputy Chairman of the MKD DPR RI Habiburokhman said that his party’s internal meeting did not allow Arteria to fulfill the police’s summons.

“We in the name of the law cannot allow him (Arteria, ed) to go there (Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, ed),” said the legislator from the Gerindra Party at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (24/11).

According to Habiburokhman, Arteria could not attend because there was a law concerning the MPR, DPR, DPD and DPRD (UU MD3).

Because, he said, Article 245 of the regulation states that summoning members of the Indonesian House of Representatives in general criminal cases requires the permission of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
