Successive developments in the crisis of the predatory dog, owned by the Egyptian media, Amira Shanab, and attacked a neighbor a few days ago before he was transferred to a hospital and entered a coma after his heart stopped.
The wife of the victim, Iman Abdel Mohsen, revealed, in a telephone conversation with the Egyptian journalist Amr Adib, on the “Al-Hekaya” program, which is shown on the “MBC Egypt” screen, new details.
She recounted the details of the incident that occurred when the dog was in the garden of the house and attacked her husband, who was returning with his son from abroad.
She explained that her son rushed to wake up the son of the journalist, Amira Shanab, who eventually managed to rid the victim of the dog attack, and went to the hospital, but he fell into a coma after his heart stopped for a full 30 minutes.
The wife also revealed his health condition, noting that separating him from respirators is impossible, which makes it difficult to transfer him from the hospital.
In addition, she appealed to decision makers in Egypt to set special conditions for breeding dogs, especially predatory species, so that the same thing that happened with her husband would not be repeated.
For its part, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced that it took legal measures immediately upon receiving the communication, as the Public Prosecution Office took over the investigation.
And it was announced in the program that the dog was kept in custody until it was presented to a veterinary committee, and its owner was also kept in custody until the end of the investigations.
