“The Care Factory”, a film by Marion Angelosanto on the public hospital crisis

ENERGY SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AWARD – FIGRA 2022

OFFICIAL SELECTION – “OTHERWISE SEEN” *

In the midst of a public hospital crisis, the CHU de Clermont-Ferrand opens its doors wide to us. While the medical profession struggles to treat more and more patients with humanity, the management juggles with contradictory injunctions, between public service mission and budgetary constraints. In the bowels of the hospital, an anthill of the invisible works to feed, bleach and house the 2,000 patients who stay there in the hope of recovery.

Shot like an ensemble film, this social comedy told by Daniel Pennac weaves the daily story of a large body in crisis.
