Expanding its operations in the Baltic countries, the car subscription platform “MyBee” starts providing services in Latvia.
MyBee is a digital service provider that allows customers to subscribe to a new car on delivery without paperwork or long-term commitment. “MyBee” belongs to the international group of companies “Modus Group”, which also manages the popular car sharing service provider “CityBee” in Latvia.
As MyBee’s observations show, the demand for short-term and especially long-term car rental is increasing not only due to economic considerations, but also due to the changing attitude and expectations of the population regarding mobility.
Last year, MyBee signed almost 1,000 new subscription contracts in Lithuania and Estonia, and Latvia has been chosen as a favorable market for expanding the company’s operations, as it is open to innovation, and residents are aware that a car can be simply subscribed and does not need to be owned or leased. .
“More and more citizens understand that a car can be a mobility service that is subscribed to instead of being owned. With rising inflation and rising prices, people are reassessing car-related expenses while looking for alternatives to replace their old cars. “MyBee” is already successfully operating in Lithuania and Estonia. Despite the fact that “MyBee” started its activity as a startup company recently, it has already become a profitable business,” says Arvis EnĖelis, the manager of MyBee in Latvia.
CityBee and MyBee are part of the Modus Mobility family.
